Kenya: Owning a semi-auto rifle soon to be a hanging offense

According to the latest proposals contained in the National Policy on Small Arms and Light Weapons, no one will be allowed to own an AK 47 rifle, a G3 or "any automatic or semi automatic self loading military assault rifle of any other calibre".Anyone found guilty of having one will be hanged.

Such legislation would be a dream come true for Nancy Pelosi, Eric Holder and other fascists and leftists here in the US. I really feel sorry for the ordinary law abiding Kenyan citizen. AKs and G3s are an African mainstay for rural ranchers and farmers. Now, it will be open season on all of the law abiding. I tried to register to the news forum of the paper that published the article but couldn't get through.

As I've said before, the day the federal government starts trying to take legally owned firearms from the People is the day Civil War II begins. Fortunately for us, right now the moral idiots (or should that be 'socialist idiots?') like Pelosi, McCarthy Schumer and Reid have other things to worry about - like trying to find a way to get reelected and retain control of at least one house of Congress in the face of a growing groundswell of dissatisfaction with the way the Democrats are mismanaging the country and the more-obvious-by-the-day inability of the Empty Suit from Illinois to accomplish anything worthwhile.

It would seem to me that there would be more police deaths with this law. If a person has a weapon and it looks like he will be caught, he might as well fight it out as he is dead if he is taken.
