Thanx! It's a mousepad (Don't laugh, it works) on with velcro. The grip is a spare ATI handguard I shaped, attached with screws and polyresined on. Actually, it looks pretty cool and it's very functional. It was already a "bubba" when I bought it so please don't torch me too badly :P. I just fixed the "bubbawork" (Trust me, it was really bad) and custom fit it to me. It's nice and stable. My Daughter wanted to have her a picture taken with it to be posted (She's a little showoff ). I also shaved down the "saddle" part of the stock a little more than .75 of an inch. It handles and feels more like a "tactical" type stock.

Only DUCT TAPE or VELCRO are supremely viable. Black tape is a little "nerdy" IMO (*ShUdDeR*!).

sea_chicken1 , Send me a pm with your address and I'll send you a set...
years back I was heavy into the militia thing and had started up a national group called the National survival unit , U.S. Militia. it had members in all 50 states, was fun and made some great friends and contacts , after 911 the government finally came around and started to educate the public on being prepared for an emergency .I figured my little effort was past it's day so I shut it down a couple years ago.

Electrical tape is a no go because the adhesive they use wears out pretty quick. If black tape is a must, friction tape.
