Russian SKS bayonet.

Hey guys, ive been looking at a nice russian sks, but one thing that caught my attention is the blade bayonet is BLACK? ive never seen this before, does anyone know anything about this? ive always seen silver.

i beleave that means that the gun was rearsinaled... or arsinal refurbished..... i could be wrong but i beleave i read that on here a while back.

^That's what it means. When some of them went back through and were arsenal refurbished, they blued the bolt, bolt carrier, and bayonet. Probably to gut down on potential reflection of sunlight that would give away a soldiers position. If you find a Russian that hasn't been refurbished, the bayonet will look like other makes such as Norinco.
