Thanks everyone.
I shot two antelope does this afternoon. One small and one large. The small one I had to drag out over 1 mile so am glad it was small. The large doe I hit out past 300 yds, thinking it was 300yds and wound up hitting her low. We let her lay down and went back before dark and retrieved her after she died. That was only about a 500yd drag. Here's some pics too.

Today was cold, windy and fogged in. We were scoreless in the AM hunting. One stalk on 11 antelopes and didn't pan out. Too many eyes.
Afternoon was even windier and colder. We jumped 3 antelopes and I took the buck with one shot. Long shot and I failed to compensate for the windy conditions so the bullet hit him forward of where I was aiming and went through the neck, but down he went!
John and Paul went after the other two does and each bagged one. Not a bad day afterall. Wednesday and Thursday are all we have left to hunt. So far it has been productive.
Another hunter on the ranch gave us each a drink after the hunt today. He brought it in a mason jar and it was g-o-o-o-d. Timmy doesn't drink anymore so he drove us back to town.

Yesterday was foggy in the AM but the sun came out and the antelope were everywhere. Miles from us, but everywhere. Put on a couple of stalks that panned out. Now we have only three tags left. Two doe and one buck. Heading back out today to see what we can do. Raining right now but maybe it'll clear off. We head home tomorrow. Here's some pics from the last two days.

Colorado DOW did a "blind taste test" between sage feed mulies and those foraging on farmland.

Results were out of the hundred or so people that tried it, no one could tell the difference. People guessed wrong as many times as they guessed right, which means they really couldn't tell the difference and were doing just that- guessing.

Whitetails are better eating then mulies, IMO, and they make better trophies too.

I've never hunted speed goats...it looks like fun. I have et antelope though and prefer almost every other kind of red meat to them...they're edible but rank just above pork in my good-taste-O-meter. YMMV

Looks like ya'll are having fun Rambo! Ya gotta watch out for drinks in jars! LMAO I need to talk to some of my "sources" and pick up another jar or two for the pantry.

I just realized that Jim Carrey looks just like a young George Jones!

Just got back. It was a great time by all. The weather turned nice the last two days, allowing us to tag out. Now all that is left is boning out all the meat and, for me anyway, making burger, chops and summer sausage.
A couple of highlights of the hunt. Timmy and I managed two stalks that culminated in our taking of two 'lopes at the same time on both of them. It was like a military exercise. Also, Paul scoped himself pretty good. He is handicapped and can legally shoot from the vehicle, not from a roadway though, and he had a quick shot to make and didn't get set good enough. He still got his 'lope though. He wounded it and pointed out where it had run to so I put the stalk on it, found it bedded and took it out. Nice buck too.

If you guys want all of us to get together some time I know where the Antelope are in the northwest corner of the Texas panhandel only like 10 miles to oklahoma boarder. We all need to ask if the oklahoma game department won't relocate some antelope just east of stillwater very good plains country north and south of hiway 51 for miles.
I live on west side of lake Keystone between hiway 64 and 51.
I also know where we may get permission to set up a 1000 yard shooting range with a natural berm as back stop right on the hiway too.
