Fn fal

Cabela's is going to put an FN-FAL on sale 10-15 for 1299. It has a top rail, 1 10-rnd mag and 2 20-rnd mag. I have considered getting a FAL for awhile. What should like look for to determine if this is a good FAL, also what manufactures do you guys stick to.

ENTERPRISE IS TO BE PUTTING OUT QUALITY FAL'S but the Metric fal's have more available parts for them and finish is a plus imbel are good receivers and enterprise uppers are quality, take a bore light to ensure has a shiny barrel, make sure not much gap between upper/lower and is tight... take empty .308 casing and place in mag to ensue lock back on last round removed and also test the bolt ejector to see if cyc's properly remove the dustcover over bolt and slide out the bolt to check for excessive wear and is it a remfg with an warranty or is it as is? Is cabelas standing behind it if its a dud if not what is your recourse on getting it repair if their is any? Good luck on this possible nice purchase.

I saw a STG 58 that was from Enterprise in Irwin dale,Cal.
Good shape. It's not for sale though. I asked. I think you can still
get them from Enterprise.

There are some receivers you should stay away from. Hesse for one.
