Will it fit? 98k action to M48 stock?

If anyone has experience or knows positively, will a 98k fit into a M48 Yugo stock? Are they all the same measurements internally and will it drop right in or is there some work to do? I know the bolt is different but is the stock? Any input would be helpful. Thanks

I don't know if it will but why do it when R-guns has 98 stocks for 100. with metal bands in VG condition

I believe the M48 Yugo action is slightly shorter than the regular Mauser 98 action as used on the 98k.

The Kar98k is the 'long action', while the M48 is the "intermediate action" - no, it will not fit.

Thanks for the info, I was hoping to use a $40 M48 stock instead of spending $100 for the 98k stock. Looking for the cheapest way out.
