RPK flat question

Hey guys, I was looking at building an ak but I've started thinking that I might want to build a Rpk... I'm wondering, where can I get flats for the rpk and can I bend them on a standard ak jig?

Thanks

looks like they would work just fine in a standard ak jig, but it also looks like they are already bent when you get them from cold steal

Only if the "standard" jig is adjustable. I have a friend that made a jig out of angle iron and other machined steel and he has two sets of end-spacers for the angle iron, one is 1mm wider than the other, due to the 0.5mm difference in thickness from the AK to the RPK receiver (1.0 and 1.5mm, respectively).

yep, I got that... my main thought was the wide bend at the top for the wider gas block or trunnion or something like that lol
