Talking

My wife says I get the "top drawer" because she can't reach it...so she takes the others. Just another example of a 50:50 split.

Yo',I know that sometimes I do get a bit short, but don't mean to,truth be told I tend to run off at the mouth a bit, hence the name Rave that was given to me by my brother in law.
Wolfman Jack, hmmmm, well I do have a mop of straight grey hair, but no beard, only side burns.
Best wishes to everone and their families too!

G&G has a great bunch of friendly folks who try to help and encourage each other. The members really care. Thanks Chris for making this possible.

I have to admit, I haven't posted much in a while. Mostly because my current shooting activity is NILL due to finance adjustments. HECK! Look at my screen name. I haven't had a chance to get my SkS out for a WHILE. I got a scope to zero for it (I did NOT bubba it but I did buy a generic receiver cover with scope mounts on it and it's perfectly tight.)

The point is, I still come here and I comment on some of the topics because, yeah, I like this place. Plus I try to comment, in some topics, in such a way that it makes people think about what they ARE saying. I wish I COULD put in "my 2 cents worth" for the site, but that has not been possible. Just remember that the issue over our 2nd amendment rights are double edged. There are those who fight for it that truly want to preserve it for the right reasons............and there are other who want to preserve it just to abuse that right. Those people are the ones that the anti's look at. Not we who are legitimate.

Kudos to all of you for making this one great forum. I really appreciate that even if we disagree with each other we for the most part can keep it civil. This is a great place to meet and talk things over. SKS Noob, I have the same issue with a sporterized Model 93 Mauser. Bought it over a month ago with a scope, it is still in the gun case never fired or zeroed in. I would love to meet some of you guys and gals and put faces to names, but there don't seem to be too many from my neck of the woods and finances are killing me right now as well. Haven't been to the range in two months. But, I still come up here to share some great conversations. Again, kudos to us all.
