Alright guys check this out,
"THIS IS A
FIELD-POINT TARGET ONLY, IF YOU SHOOT A
BROAD-HEAD INTO IT IT WILL STAY AND YOU WILL HAVE TO TAKE THE TARGET APART TO GET IT BACK"(I LEARNED THE HARD WAY)
supplies you will have to have
- two 4ft pieces of 2x12 board
- at least 1 heavy duty rachet strap(i used one thats 4in wide)
- a pocket knife or box cutter
- several pieces of old carpet cut (with your knife or box cutter)a little larger than your boards
- a buddy to help you put it together
1st stretch your rachet strap out on the ground and lay one of your boards down in the center of it, then start piling your carpet on the board(i piled mine about 4.5 feet tall), when your done with your carpet put your 2nd board on the top of you carpet, then connect the rachet strap and bind it down as tight as possible....i threw a cuple of nails in the bottom board of mine.....but dont put them in the top(you may need to tightn down the strap every once in a while or replace your carpet one day)
This is a great target and iv never had an arrow pass thru.....(my dad and i have ben shooting mine for 5 years and still havnt changed the carpet).........all i had to buy was the strap and i paid $15 for it
