Boycott the 2nd amendment firearms co.

Back in late february/early march I found a link on here for stripped AR-15 lowers stamped "multi-caliber" for $87. I followed the link to their page and placed my order, found a local FFL to receive my receiver, had him mail a copy of his license and waited....and waited....and called...and called...and e-mailed....and sharpened my axe.....and finally got my shipment on the 13th of october. My local deal had to send a copy of his license twice by snail mail and once by fax before the trained chimps down there shipped my order. When it arrived, it was stamped "5.56", not "multi-caliber" as the ad described. Almost every time I called I got a machine, except for the one time a human being answered and hung up on me. I had to threaten them with legal action and demand a refund to get any kind of customer service at all. This post is a public service announcement to save yourself a lot of time and bullspit and not have anything to do with these guys, they suck.

What do you care if it says multi or 5.56? Not that it makes it right for them to do it, but why make a big deal?

wouldnt a 5.56 be multi, the way i understand 223 can be used in 5.56 but 5.56 cant be used in 223, not saying they are right but i dont buy anything from anywhere if you have to talk to a machine anyway. so i wont use them.

My guess is because He's using the lower on a build of a different caliber. Like a 6.8 or 5.45 or 7.62x39?

Yeah, but who cares? A 6.8 upper fits on a 5.56 lower just fine.

at4rxj for what it's worth I have heard from several places that it could be one thing used against the owner of an AR-15 type weapon if the lower is stamped 5.56 and you have a 6.8, 6.5, 458 Socom Upper on it. If it's multi caliber it might not cause the antis to get their panties twisted in a knot. My guess it won't really matter one way or the other but sometimes it's the simplest things that cause problems.

Grab a couple of beers, sit back and start reading what happened on this GBLRB Lower Group Buy List (People Who Bought) **Updates** - Page 21 - BeltfedShooters.com

hmm although considering the tons of 9mm, .22LR, and 5.7 conversions out there its pretty common place and I know at least my state doesnt care what upper is on there as long as its legal barrel length or NFAd.

He cares because it's not what he ordered. I've been going out of my way to get Multi labeled lowers for my 6.8s, just so there's not questions when I'm out hunting and the local game warden wants to check my gun. I cannot hunt deer with a .223, but I can use a 6.8. Why have a hassle with the GW if I don't have to? If Multi is on it, they won't bother, but if it says .223, I'll have to pull the mag, pull ammo, and eject the round to show I'm not using the varmint cartridge instead of a real cartridge.

I won't even go to their store to buy ammo. here's why.
2 days after opening I ask for 7.62x25, I am given 2 boxes of 7.62x54.I tell the clerk of his mistake and he replies while walking away "Make up your damn mind" I say loudly "EXCUSE ME?" He just shrugs and retrieves my rounds. So I ask him upon his return if He had a problem. He replied "Oh, sorry since opening it's been hectic and i'm really burnt out." I leave and goto look at used guns,I see a H&R 12g, I ask "How much for the Harrington and Richardson?" and the ever so helpful employee replies
We don't carry those they are really old guns and usually dont work well..I wanted to tell him of all the guns H&R made for the US Army in WWII and all of the great rifles and shotguns that are still around and functioing well..But I left to go pay and was told I needed 2 forms of ID w/a credit card...My drivers License and 4 credit cards incl. my Costco ID is all I have..So,needless to say..I aint goin back

Bastards..

My Bushy say 5.56 it will shoot both, the .223 sometimes more accurate. ?? The 5.56 is higher in cup pressure than the .223. Just the opposite, The 7.62 x 51 in .308 is higher in cup pressure than the .308 Win. Rock on.

He believed me when I told him that 5.56 was all he could shoot ,but mine could shoot several Calibers ( NOT mentioning an Upper change)...LMAO

I can understand that... I think I even said that above. I'm just saying that if he's worried about some other aspect of it, it's not worth the extra blood pressure.

guys, the fact is the company took over 6 months to ship me a stripped lower that they advertised would ship in 6 weeks. Their customer service dept. is terrible and they didn't ship the exact item they advertised. I won't deal with them again and neither should you. If anyone has had a good experience with this shitbox of a company, please, post away!

jrswanson I was referring to at4rxj comment.

But yea, you want to talk about annoying shipping service try Del-Ton..

They ship their orders in the same order they were received NO MATTER WHAT. According to their customer service reps too.

That might sound good but lets say... at4rxj, TACAV, and JRSwanson place 3 orders in that order.

at4rxj- orders 1 item which is out of stock on back order
TACAV- orders 1 item which is in stock
JRSwanson- orders 4 items in stock

Del-Ton wont ship TACAV's and JRSwanson's orders even though all their stuff is in stock until they can process and ship at4rxj's order.

This happened to one of my friends who ended up waiting over 8 months for an instock AR15 grip because he ordered it near the '08 election with all the back orders.

Frustrating TenRing, thanks for the heads up. Waiting that long only to receive something you did not order sucks. Then having to press the issue that hard for resolution...I will certainly not be taking any business there.

Don't forget to file complaints with the BBB if you have any problems with ANY company.
In the case of Firearms Dealers in Florida, file your charges with the groups listed below.

Caveat Emptor - let the buyer beware. Only deal with SOLID companies with good reputations.

I'd avoid Doublestar too...

After reading the link on the Beltfed Shooters Group Buy...it looks like most of them finally got their stuff...but a few got completely and totally ripped off.

Some companies just can't be trusted. Doesn't surprise me that they are in Miami...

Doulblestar?? Never had any trouble with them. Half the rifles in our military are made in Winchester KY. by Doublestar.
