California: Bill to ban gun shows at Cow Palace vetoed

Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger has shot down a bill that would have prohibited the sale of firearms and ammunition at the Cow Palace. The governor vetoed Senate Bill 585, which sought a ban on gun shows at the state owned entertainment venue.

I got a NRA alert recently that several states were trying to push similar legislation in an effort to ban gun sale, while not appearing to overtly do so. Glad to see the gov. shot it down.

Sure, he vetoes this stupid bill yet he signs the one about fingerprinting ammo purchases. What a putz...


And with that ammo fingerprint bill, I wonder if he really and truly thinks or expects criminals and gang-bangers to do that when they need or get ammo?
