Hey guys does anyone have a bayolug bipod. I have seen the made of plastic, steel and aluminum. My question is what kind do you have, and how do you like it? Thanx for your input!
good thread i too have been wondering about them . i have the bushy m4 and the bayo lug is pretty much a decoration because i am yet to find a bayo for it . but i have seen other attachments for it that mount to the bayo lug.
The bayo lug bipod has a bolt that goes through the hole in the lug which held the bayo on. They dont make a mount of that style to fit the AR it uses a clamp on the barrel type or other various configurations depending on the type of fore grip you may be using. Attaching anything to the barrel or anything attached directly to the barrel can often time affects accuracy by affecting the barrel harmonics

I have a molded plastic bipod that attaches to my SKS bayo lug, it was pretty cheap but it works good. I like it I think its from ATI(not 100% sure though) I ordered it from Cheaper than Dirt awhile back, in any case I like it.

Mine is steel, and is pretty solid. I would avoid the plastic ones, and the aluminum can be bent were it will not function correctly. Stick with steel so you can open and close it without too much force.
