Were a 1000 bucks when I first noticed them. Saw a couple different places having them for 600 bucks lately.
I think what we are seeing is that they were not that popular and since the popularity increased they have been importing more and that drove the prices down. Probably back when you could still get a Tigr they were priced higher, since those not willing to pay the premium would settle, now that it is just the PSL out there there isn't much to contend with (except maybe a M14 which is kind of the American counter-part).
If the importing slows down and the demand is still there or increases they will go back up in price.

AK's and AR's are coming down in price as well. I figure the panic buying frenzy caused dealers to stock the shelves and warehouses and now the recession is causing them to be overstocked.

I found this the other day, the receiver has the scope rail, rear trunion, and trigger guard attached. $560 plus transfer fee for a DIY project, if you're so inclined.

I picked up that same kit at Knob Creek gun show for $350, I can get a receiver at Coldsteel for $50, & a rivet set is about $10. So I can build it for about $410. Oh Yeah, that is an unfired kit.
As far as the price drop of the PSL, Cheap kits + price of ammo going up + gun shops stocked up on the PSL = lower prices.
