2- Winchester 94's

A few months ago I picked up 2 Winchester model 94 rifles and was wanting to know the value of them.

1- Winchester 94 Texas ranger commemorative has the star on the side of stock Texas ranger 1823-1973. Brand new unfired but does not have the box or any paperwork with it.

2- Winchester 94 Buffalo bill commemorative with octagon barrel. Brand new unfired but no box or paperwork with it.

The Texas ranger model is worth in the ballpark of around $700 and up to the right person, since there is no box and paperwork proly a bit less, maybe $550-$650.
The buffalo bill is worth in the ball park of $450 if in mint condition, add box and paperwork and the value increases.
With the way the economy is now they will proly not bring as much but maybe to the right person. I would hold onto the Texas ranger model, value will increase in time and do what you will with the other. Good luck...

Most of these commemoratives don't gain much in value. You have to find a collector. Then they are going to want the box and paperwork. You didn't say what calibers, but many may know without askaing !!
