Question Might go to a gun show this weekend?

What should I look for? Ammo, guns, just to browse? I really don't need anything as I havn't been able to shoot the guns I own in a while and I have quite a bit of ammo for each, except maybe not enough .30-06 for my M1 Garand. What would be a good price on M2 ball if they have it? Everything else is just a want at the moment. I want an AR and an AK but they are a little expensive. What would be a good price on either of the two that would make it a steal? I am staying away from a WASR AK even though I enjoy shooting my brothers. I would rather have a nicer one. I havn't been looking at gun prices or ammo prices for a few months so I am not to sure what a good deal would be or not. I am not 21 yet so handguns are out of the picture for a while. Are there any Mausers that are worth glancing at? What are some good prices nowadays for Mosins and M39's?

I will give a report on the outcome if I decide to go or not. I think I have enough cash to have a little bit of fun. I havn't spent any money on anything except food and utilities for a while as I spend all my time at school...

Well i cant tell ya what ta buy, but do have a good time...

Your .30-06 shells and a nice $125.00 mosin and some shells would probably get you out of there with a good time and some extra money for more food.

Maybe put the rest of your money in a pretzel jar for the AK or AR later or the next show that comes up..........Have a good day tomorrow at the show,i think you will go...LOL

Haha! I am waiting for a friend and my brother to get back from their Geology class field trip and I will go this afternoon. It is a two day show so I hope not everything dries up right away!

Well, I saw a CETME for $989. Way over priced. I also saw a PTR-91 and it would have been a steal but I didn't want to spend that much. I didn't see a single mosin other than the M39 with a shot out bore that was at the last show. Ammo was all over priced and i could easily get any of it online for a lot less and have it shipped to my door. They didn't have any of the other rifles I have been looking at for a while. I stayed for maybe an hour. At least it was fun to browse but everything except for a select few items, were outrageously overpriced.

The next time I go I will probably be 21 and I will have a lot more options. Most of the guns being sold were handguns so I will have a lot more to look at and browse through the next time I go. Hopefully the prices on those aren't as outrageous as the rifles!
