Whos had the swine flu?

I dont know about you guys but here in Idaho a ton of people are getting the swine flu. Nobodies dying or anything like the media claims it just that a ton of people are getting sick. We had around 100 people missing from school today (thats about one fourth of the school) I already had it and it wasnt that bad. i was just sick like normal for a couple of days. The only thing that was bad was I had a lung infection for a while but luckily im all better now. Anyways how many of you have had it?

You're not dead Mr. billy? I thought that shot was so full of mercury that you wouldn't even be alive as soon as you left the building.

Lots of people here have had swine flu. I haven't had it, but I am patiently waiting on the time when the shot becomes available to me and I shall take it. I have sent several people to the ICU for complications of H1N1, not all of them lived. All of them young.

The swine flu is weird. A little girl at my church had it, got better and is fine now. A little boy in this area has it and was on the brink of death but is slowly recovering.

No one in my family has had it yet, but other relatives have...all got over it with the exception of one of the men, who ended wup with pneumonia about 2 weeks after initial symptoms, but is fine now.

School in August & September went through their closings with mass absenteeism from illness, but I have not heard of this over the past few weeks. Swine flu has taken several children's lives in my state and several more fight for their lives in the local hospitals. A school nurse in my county was/is the first reported adult fatality possibly related to H1N1; I have not heard of any more such cases in my area or surrounding counties but one never knows.

I am like TT; I patiently wait for the H1N1 injection, which is currently unavailable in my area. My young son has received the 1st of 2 H1N1 nasal mist and by GOD's will is doing fine.

I had it back in May.

The sky didn't fall and the world didn't end. I was just very sick for a few days and got over it.

Nothing to worry about. Best part is that I haven't been sick with even a cold since then! Lol.

A friend's three sons have it and are being just boys about it. Staying home from school and acting up. I am staying away from them though.

They are pretty much the same the only difference is that H1N1 affects kids more harshly. and speaking of that Vaccine iv heard alot of bad things about it I have already had it so im not gonna take the shot.

It is not the season for the regular flu so yes, all of the flu being seen now are swine flu. It's proven by nasopharyngeal swab PCR, but if you send it for a rapid and it's flu A, it's gotta be swine flu at this time of the year and before that.

And for the people saying that had it and it wasn't bad for them, that's great and I'm glad you got over it, but I don't think anybody should discourage the vaccine. Just because it wasn't bad for you doesn't mean it won't be fatal for the next person.
