I was referred to as the absent minded professor at one of my prior jobs. I am personally responsible for keeping an Alberson's reading glass rack in business. I would take glasses to work, misplace them, case and all, and have to buy another pair. At one time I probably had somewhere between 10 and 15 pairs of reading glasses. A few have broken and been misplaced and never found, so I am down to eight.
And, if anybody is still missing scissors, or small tools, I have them. When I cleaned out my junk drawer today, I found two pair of scissors and five screwdrivers of various sizes.
Maybe Billy's ghosts are dispersing his stuff all over the country to really confuse us. And do something about that fly. That's pretty cool, how did you make that?

I lost the iron sites for my CVA ML.....I took them off when I scoped it. I had them for years...I decided to put them back on last month...and I can't find them anywhere! I had them in a box in my shootin' stuff..the box is still there, but now it's empty!
I am one of those annoying people who keeps track of everything...the only thing I have trouble keeping is sunglasses...I have to have 5 pairs to have one! LOL all my family members have at least one pair of my sunglasses in their house and auto.

Considering the looks of your bathroom wall, I vote brain damage. J/K
Yet, another poll?
I lost my truck keys about a month ago and have seen NO sign of them. Good thing I have a spare! Lost a pellet pistol a week ago, after about two hours, I finally found it.
On the other hand, If I go somewhere where there are a bunch of people, I'll find five or six bic lighters in various pockets after I get home.

I had to go back to a B&B several hours after we left and retrieve my PA-63 from the nightstand while the cleaning lady was there. She was all weird about it, but she teaches a class on black-powder cartridge rifles. Said she didn't know what handguns were good for...

Does anybody have any gremlins that eat all the snack food in the middle of the night and just leave crumbs all over the counter?

One sure fire way to find the missing item - go and buy another one! Suddenly the old one appears!
Or the new one goes missing too........ somewhere in another dimension of space/time, there is a warehouse full of our stuff, including all Billy's scissors......

Lose things? Not really "lose" so much. Other folks "lose" things for me.
Misplace things? Oh yeah, all the time.
Throw away things in a cleaning fit that I haven't used in years, some things I've never used, and then suddenly need it 6 months later? Oh HELL yeah!
