Why would they present an obvious case of self defense to a grand jury? That is just stupid. What ever happened to common sense? Score another one for the good guys!

Pontiacdm..............I agree that it wastes a lot of time but, think about it for a second. The State's Attorney, that's what we call them in Illinois, is an elected position. If the Grand Jury doesn't bring charges it shelters the guy from any political fall out either way.

Just goes to show ya.......... the only one in the family pack'n was good ole grandma!!!! They all probably laughed at her pryor to this for pack'n ? Had they only known ...........

Saw her son interviewed on the news tonight and he said that his Mom wasn't a very good shot and he was really surprised that she hit the bad guy. Guess that shows what focus can do for you.
