Saddle Vs Picitanny Rail

OK guys I have a 500 with a smoothbore barrel and I plan to put a rifled choke tube n it. Now this is going to be my big hunting gun so I figured I am going to scope it. I have a scope and rings already set and i just want to know wich one is going to be more sturdy.

Thanks

i have a rail mount via the pre-drilled screws on the receiver and its really sturdy you wont loose zero becuase of it and once on no need to ever remove it.
