| Mexico is Angry . Mexico is Angry ~ WOW!!! YOU GOTTA READ THIS!!! Unbelievable!!! The shoe is on the other foot and the Mexicans from Sonora don't like it. Can you believe the nerve of these people? It's almost funny. State of Sonora, Mexico is angry at the Flood of Mexicans returning to Mexico! Nine state legislators from the Mexican state of Sonora traveled to Tucson to complain about Arizona 's new employer crackdown on illegals from Mexico . It seems that many Mexican illegals are now returning to their hometowns and the officials in the Sonora state government are ticked off about it. A delegation of nine state legislators from Sonora was in Tucson on Tuesday to say Arizona 's new employer sanctions law will have a devastating effect on the Mexican state. At a news conference, the legislators said Sonora , (Arizona 's southern neighbor, made up of mostly small towns,) cannot handle the demand for housing, jobs and schools it will face as Mexican workers return to their hometowns without jobs or money. The Arizona law, which took effect Jan.1, punishes employers who knowingly hire individuals who don't have valid legal documents to work in the United States. Penalties include suspension of, or loss of, their business license. The Mexican legislators are angry because their own citizens are returning to their hometowns, placing a burden on their state government. 'How can they pass a law like this?' asked Mexican Rep. Leticia Amparano-Gamez, who represents Nogales . 'There is not one person living in Sonora who does not have a friend or relative working in Arizona ,' she said, speaking only in Spanish. 'Mexico is not prepared for the tremendous problems it will face as more and more Mexicans (working in Arizona and sending money to their families) return to hometowns in Sonora without jobs,' she said. 'We are one family, socially and economically,' she said of the people of Sonora and Arizona . Wrong! The United States is a sovereign nation, not a subsidiary of Mexico, and its taxpayers are not responsible for the welfare of Mexico's citizens. It's time for the Mexican government, and its citizens, to stop parasitically feeding off of the United States and to start taking care of its/their own needs. Too bad all the US states don't pass a law just like Arizona 's. Maybe that's the answer, since our own Congress will not do anything! NOW...Check this: New Immigration Laws: Read to the bottom or you will miss the message... 1. There will be no special bilingual programs in the schools. * * * * * * * * 2. All ballots will be in this nation's language. * * * * * * * * 3. All government business will be conducted in our language. * * * * * * * * 4. Non-residents will NOT have the right to vote no matter how long they are here. * * * * * * * * 5. Non-citizens will NEVER be able to hold political office... * * * * * * * * 6. Foreigners will not be a burden to the taxpayers. No welfare, no food stamps, no health care, or other government assistance programs. Any burden will be deported. * * * * * * * * 7. Foreigners can invest in this country, but it must be an amount at least equal to 40,000 times the daily minimum wage. * * * * * * * * 8. If foreigners come here and buy land... options will be restricted. Certain parcels including waterfront property are reserved for citizens naturally born into this country. * * * * * * * * 9.. Foreigners may have no protests; no demonstrations, no waving of a foreign flag, no political organizing, no bad-mouthing our president or his policies. These will lead to deportation. * * * * * * * * 10. If you do come to this country illegally, you will be actively hunted &, when caught, sent to jail until your deportation can be arranged. All assets will be taken from you. * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * Too strict?...... The above laws are current immigration laws of MEXICO !!! They sound fine to me. NOW, how can we get these laws to be America 's immigration laws?? WAKE UP, U.S. of AMERICA- we are losing our country.........!!!!

You are aware what the number one industry in Mexico is? It is mexicans in the US sending money back to mexico. I dont have the exact figure at hand but it is between 3 and 12 billion dollars they send to mexico each year. Even worth more than their cocaine and marijane exports to the US. Someone in this country illegally is a criminal. They should be treated as such.

They have no right to complain. That overly pisses me off!! It is not our responsibility, and we shouldn't have to follow any of Mexico's demands. The nerve of these idiots to actually go to tuscon and complain about it. Add to the fact that they only complained in Spanish. Someone should have said, "no hablo espanol, now get the $#&@ out of our country". Total morons...

| That article really is too funny. Somebody forgot to tell the Mexican government that the United States isn't the metropolitan overflow of Mexico. We are a sovereign nation with a “very legal” international border. Arizona had the b@!!$ to take action. Now, if California and other states would follow that very legal precedent, the problem will be a long way toward being solved.

To all intents and purposes ca is already part of mexico. It's dirty, corrupt and stupid. The few of us here who care about the state are vastly outnumbered by those who care Only about themselves or their political careers.

I like fairness in all things....so in reality, we need to make these countries "angry" too- El Salvador, Cuba, Chile, Ecuador, Nicoagra, Columbia, Argentina, Poland, Russia, China, Japan, Taiwan, Korea, England, Germany, France, African Nations, Italy, Greece, Turkey, Iran, Jordan, Israel, Canada,.... well, the list goes on, just look at a globe and fill in the rest. Or, is it just the spanish speaking, darker colored folks we don't want in America? I get confused sometimes reading these threads....tell me again, is it the illegal immigration we don't like or the ethnicity? I don't recall any threads about sending those white european immigrants who speak english back home.

I bet there if there were internet forums a few hundred years ago...the Native Americans would be on here demanding those white europeans be deported....all those white folks do is try to teach us English and their customs...while taking our jobs and lands, while sending the proceeds back overseas to their home countries.

Thrillbilly, I can only speak for myself, and it's illegals that are the scapegoat/.problem. Mexicans get the most press because they are the most visible group. I've met illegals, Who apart from being illegal are good, hardworking people. They are not the main problem, Their kids or grandkids may be, no one can see into the future. There are those who come For a better life, and those who's actions detract from other's quality of life.

Actually, it's the way the world turns. One race/tribe/country moves in, overpowering the indigenous peoples and either assimilates them into their society, pushes them out to somewhere else or kills them. Before it happened to the indigenous tribes of this continent, it had occured all over the Eur-Asian continent centuries before.

I have been reading this since I signed up here in April...I understand the volatile nature of illegal immigration...I don't like it myself, and if it was up to me I'd kick ALL illegals out...but my point is...we focus on one group to much. I have no racial or ethnic bias....I want them ALL gone! Anybody, regardless of color or ethnicity, should be allowed to LEGALLY immigrate to the U.S. I get the feeling from some people that they don't care so much about the illegal immigration as they do WHO is immigrating. I just get tired of the BS...my wife's mother is of mexican blood....her family has lived in the El Paso area before it was even Texas...much less the USA. People seem unable to distinguish between a ethnic group and a criminal group (illegals). Not all mexican-americans are illegals. Her family has lived in America longer then my Anglo-Saxon family has (not counting my native American ancestors LOL).

The first members of my family arrived here in 1908; that is when Theodore Roosevelt was president. To my knowledge, none of us in four generations have been on economic relief, in prison, or members of any subversive organizations. On the contrary, we “have” educated ourselves, served in our armed forces in war and peace, owned and operated successful businesses, served our communities as professionals, and considered citizenship in the United States as a cherished and hard earned heritage, not a right. Any cultural or language ties that still exist from where my family came from are considered windfalls of our American heritage, not the other way around. Finally, we have a right and a responsibility to defend our borders from illegal entry. Every country in the world recognizes and practices that duty. We had better do the same. www.nrlc.org/abortion/facts/abortionstats.html
