I attended the Washington Arms Collectors show today in Puyallup, WA. Been there many times, and seen many Mosins. I was rather disappointed at the lack of Mosin Nagant rifles at the show. I saw two Mosin Nagant labeled M44s, but one was a 1953 Romanian M44, and the other was a Hungarian M44, date I didn't see. At the time I had already bought a Springfield 1903 rifle (posted in the appropriate forum) but I was still keeping my eyes peeled for any MNs. Saw the usual handfull of 91/30s still a little high priced around $150 ish. Saw one with a price tag of $175 that was an Izhevsk, I think a 1932 or something hex receiver that had been drilled and tapped. The barrel was cut behind the front sight, there was maybe 2 inches of barrel sticking out past the full laminated stock. So that was about it for Mosins.
However, I did spot what I thought to be a Nagant revolver. Well, it was, but made by Husqvarna. I was a little surprised to see that. It had like a $385 price tag, but the gun itself looked to be in great shape, and it had an octagonal barrel on it too. Looked great, a bit pricey for me.

The Romanian was at $150 with 100 rds of ammo. Bore wasn't very nice. Looked like someone shot it with come corrosive stuff, and left it. The Hungarian one I think the guy wanted $170 or $180. Stock looked beautiful. It was a very bright looking, light colored wood. So I don't know if he did it, or a refurb did it at some point. It looked great though. But, I do have a Romanian and Hungarian M44 already.
