I purchased a M/N 91/30 about a month ago. I ordered it online, but I have a C&R. Without a FFL you'll have to get someone with one to take shipment of it.
pretty sure you'll need to get a copy of your ffl's liscence and mail it to them before you order. some of them take a faxed copy. not sure if aim does.

ok i talked to aim on the phone and they told me that my ffl can just fax them there license and thats it. i hope it doesent get lost im thinking aim is a huge place that gets alot of ffls faxed to them and thats all the info they need and not my name or anything with it, my ffl told me they would fax it to them today im gonna go ahead and place my order and hopefully it will go through
I don't know how many places they have but the one by me isn't that big at all. The counter that you walk in to purchase something is about 10' ft by 8'...If you didn't know what AIM is you wouldn't even know it sold guns and ammo by looking at from the street.

wow that sounds nice, looking at there website they look like one of the largest distributers to the public i guess thats prob where they do the majority of there business
FAX them a copy of your dealers FFL, WITH YOUR NAME PRINTED ON IT !! So they know who it is for. They lose a lot of orders this way. Then go get your C&R ASAP !!

I have found AIM to be a great dealer to do business with. They DO get a lot of FFLs in but they are filed by the FFL's zip code. Just have your FFL fax in their license and then call them with your order. They have excellent customer service. They do loose things from time to time but more often than not they do a great job of finding what you need and working with you to get you what you want.
AIM is my primary distributor. I have bought several rifles and a lot of ammo from them over the years.

I bought an Enfield from them a few years ago. Just had my FFL call in the order. They were prompt getting it shipped out, and have been the same way when I've ordered ammo from them. I'd buy from them again.
I live about 4 miles from AIM. I just walked in the door and bought ammo and my
M-38 Mosin.
I live about 4 HOURS from them! If I want to go visit the store it is going to have to be a trip, although it would be worth it being able to buy a mosin for $80 vs. the $150 they usually go for around here!
I just order with my C&R. any one who wants to buy mil surps should get their C&R ffl. the only problem is that it is too tempting to buy lots of guns at those low prices.

i live 45 minutes or so. it used to be worth it to drive up there to get the guns and ammo, but now with the prices of fuel and not being able to get time to go, i just shop around the local places.
I'm addicted to them.. I check the website almost daily.. (ok, not almost)..
Send them your transfering FFL and just call in the order, and they'll take it from there. Excellent customer service!!
Oh, and SOG (15 minutes from AIM) will do the same thing. And, as White Rook mentioned, the "shop" doesn't look like one.. Aim actually has a counter, while SOG is just an old warehouse with a couple windows and a loading dock where the people that work there go for smoke breaks.
When I find out I have a job that's going to allow me to drive through the Cincinnati area, I make sure to save some time to call and find out what's in stock to save a few bucks in shipping charges. SOG requires a few hours before stopping by to pick stuff up, and AIM's usually good on smaller (consumer) orders if you just order at the counter. Both have my C and R license on hand, but AIM requires to see my FOID card when I stop by, as they know I'm an IL resident.
As a matter of fact, there was nice box of ammo on my steps today, from AIM.
