Hornady GMX Bullet

i just saw this bullet and it looks like a very very impressive hunting bullet. if anyone has had any experience with this bullet please comment thinking aobut using it for deer and elk next year with my 30-06. thankyou

I worked up some loads with the .30 cal GMX in my .308 before I sold it, it is a very accurate bullet and the guy who I sold it to used it on some deer with my loads and told me that they dropped the deer on the spot and they never got back up and he then asked me for the load data so he could make more rounds up.

I'll let you know in a couple of weeks. I got some in .308 I using for deer season this year.

They are however very accurate. My Winchester 88 is typically an MOA rifle. With the GMX, I shot an honest 1/2" 3 shot group. You could cover all three shots with a dime on sight in at 100 yards.

thankyou very much ill probably get some.. do i have to load them my self or can i buy them in just cartriges

You can buy it loaded,cost you a bit though,Barnes also has similar bullets and loaded ammo.
