well, I took it to the indoor pistol range today. I was able to hit my tennis ball most of the time. (i think it's 20 yards, probably less). the rifle only jammed once in 300 rounds. once I can hit the ball every time i'll head out to the outdoor range.

when I got home I realised the rear leaf sight flips up. (i thought it looked weird).

Thanks again Gents for all the advice.

Welcome to the fun club! .22s are my favorite guns to shoot...mainly because it's the only caliber that doesn't hurt my tight-wad mentality...it's cheap on my wallet! I think that an evening with some .22s and a few bricks of ammo may be the best entertainment value out there.

When ya get more practice time in...set up some empty .22 hulls at about 10 yards and try shooting them, it's great fun and the targets just keep renewing themselves!
