A "Politics of the Pandemic" Situation and Condition Development... Is this a real potentiality or a contrived justification for disruption of Internet service and associated degradation of American citizenry's capability to communicate broadly and quickly about situations and conditions around them; precisely timed in conjunction with government escalated crisis mongering over H1N1 and their previously publicized efforts to take control of the Internet? In recent weeks and months we've read/heard about and watched the fed trying to and strong arming its way into regulating and taking control over one major entity after another in America, and most recently of the Internet, while at the same time falsely escalating the supposed severity of the H1N1 flu situation...most recently declaring a false flag national emergency for such. Now, here comes along another essential element of friendly information about what and how the government is trying to get us to believe and accept as reality and truth the cause and effect that: the H1N1 pandemic could cause the servers to be overloaded, leading to a breakdown and disruption to Internet service, thereby effecting American's access to use the Internet. Ramifications of such Internet disruption would be that Americans would not have access to the medium that provides them the ability to promptly communicate with each other, from all across the nation, about the details of what's going on at home, in America and abroad. Promoted as plausible in part with this statement: "H1N1 swine flu has been declared a pandemic but is considered a moderate one [which, may I add, has justified declaration of a national emergency?]. Health experts say a worse one -- or a worsening of this one -- could result in 40 percent absentee rates at work and school at any given time and closed offices, transportation links and other gathering places." http://www.reuters.com/article/newsO...20750120091026 This recent revelation about our questionable government's goings on smells more fishy than month old fish in an unplugged fridge. SEC and Homeland Security need Web backup, GAO says "Experts have for years pointed to the potential problem of Internet access during a severe pandemic, which would be a unique kind of emergency [An emergency/contrived crisis that Rahm and his cohorts would certainly want to capitalize on for furthering their cause...as was done by others of similar ilk with PNAC, changing procedural rules for having a VP in NORAD in charge of operations during crisis, 9-11, the Patriot Act, recension of Posse Comitatus, authorization for broader wire taping across the communications spectrum, and so forth was cleverly and deceptively brought about and enacted in yesteryear by those who create crisis and offer seeming justified solutions for addressing such, while therein/thereby subtly stripping us of more of our liberties and freedoms.]. It would be global, affecting many areas at once, and would last for weeks or months, unlike a disaster such as a hurricane or earthquake." http://www.reuters.com/article/newsO...20750120091026 Yes, the tactical deception logistics planners are crossing every T and dotting every I to make their motive driven crisis, sustaining argument and plan of action to cover limiting factors and short falls, appear logical and acceptable for the fear ridden sheeple and other Americans to understand and accept? I hope all the amateur radio operators have their rigs up and running, because the same argument for disruption of Internet service could be hurled at cell phone systems to even further reduce American's capability to assess and communicate about what's happening around them. While serving in the USAF, I learned about and watched our government perform similar clandestine activities against enemy targets, to disrupt and destroy their communications capabilities. When comm goes down so does the enemy...or in this case, so does the uncooperative, against the tyrannical actions of our government, citizenry at large. Your observations and comments please... Reality of Internet Disruption Tied to H1N1 Escalation??? |

According to my wife, H1N1 is probably a mutated pandemic virus of the past. She understands those being lost to this virus are mostly younger people and pregnant women. Older folk apparently are not being affected in the same numbers because of past exposure of sorts. Does anyone have info. that would sustain this? |

| In Communist Russia and its conquered territories
it was quite common to shut down the telephone system of this or that area to prevent person to person honest communication.

I work for the only phone company that stood up to the Feds when they wanted to do warrantless wiretaps on Americans phone lines. I'm fairly certain that we will not kowtow under when it comes to the internet either.

Well I can tell you that I have both cats and dogs at the same time and the cat never had the slightest interest in taking a nap with the dogs and the dogs lived to torment the cats. So I to would like some evidence of cats and dogs sleeping together too! Michael |

In all seriousness, when people start disseminating information that contains the word "sheeple" and/or the phrase "drinking the Kool-aid", I tend to discount the source. No offense, but it just seems rather alarmist instead of ringing true.
