Vector Arms/Gordon Tech

Just got this Vector Arms AKS. It was built on a SLR100 milled reciver by Gordon Tech. Real beauty, let me know what you think. You dont see these underfolder's to much from what I hear from other forums is they are very rare.

Thanks

she's a beauty! that's some attention to detail there! did you do finish it or is that just how it came?
makes me wanna run into the shop and polish my bolt and gas piston! problem is, with my ak, that'd be a bit like placing a diamond on a turd! lol!

No, this is how she came. All original and only 60rds shot. Bore still high polish and all internals are unreal.

Very nice looking AK, is that bakelite or wood furniture? Can't tell but kind of looks like that polymer east german stuff. I would almost be afraid to shoot that, almost lol

It's all birch wood. Has a semi gloss finish, and the mag is bakelite 30rd 1966 production. The finish of the rifle is how it came from Vector back in 99/2000.

No I have not owned this very long. Only about one week, did a trade from a gent back east who was looking for an AR. So we talked, sent some pics and made a deal. I have to say after a close inspection this beauty would be lucky to have a total of 60rds done. She is absolutly flawless. But I will be shooting the little lady, but will be ever so careful with her. This is bar none the cleanest AK I have seen, I have been looking for a Gordon Tech for about the last five to six years. Have found a couple but all have been beaters. Proof that it pays to wait.

nice choice, ya these things can still look great after hundreds of rnds if you take care of them. not that yours has had any more than 60 but you can use the thing. I had a yugo m70b1 and I put 1740rnds through it before i traded it and the thing was still absolutely beautiful looked just as good as the day i bought it.
