So under this lojic a CD made by the Dixie Chicks is on the same level as great works of literature? Students protesting are the same as a crowd of thugs beating people over the head with sticks? Under list level of qualification for similarities you could say that an apple and an orange are the same because they are both round. Conspiratiest see a conspiracy around every corner. When you are a hammer everything looks like a nail.

At least we know the various news media still have our back. It's not like they would willingly cover up anything suspicious or try to steer popular opinion. Anyway, we really don't have to worry about anything happening as long as "big industry", and "big banking" haven't merged a large corrupt central govt. Even if that did happen at least we all know that the enemies of free thought and capitalism haven't infiltrated our schools and aren't indoctrinating our children with this large mammy-state crap. Nah....it could never happen here.

I cannot think for a minute that this country could ever become like Nazi Germany. I have too much faith in America.

So I ask in what way are the circumstances here in the United States similar to Germany in the 30's that made the people turn to Socialism as a way out of the horrible times that the country was going through?

Burning Dixie Chicks CDs?

Thank the Lord for that, I absolutely abhor the Dixie(Ditsy) Chicks.

Talk about horrible music.
