I Did It... Again!!!

With fewer and fewer warm days left I get to the range to plink with my 22’s.
With my favorite rifles and pistols in hand I set up shop on the bench.
Guess what I forgot!
(hint)
It has two # 2’s in it.
Reckon the mind goes sooner or later.

I have done similar things to this before an I am only 43! I have to say I have never forgot to bring my ammo to the range though. If it was the old days and you were shooting an old smooth bore musket you could just slide some rocks down the barrel and plink away! Yes this was actual done by some revolutionary war soilders when they ran out of musket balls.

The worst one I ever pulled was arriving at the range with mis-matched ammo and guns. Intended to shoot several calibers, and got there with ammo for guns I didn't bring, and guns with no ammo.

Life happens.

The number of people I've seen turn up at the range without a rifle bolt?? (myself included)!! You can usually borrow ammo from someone.
I actually have a written checklist pasted on my gunsafe!! Gun-Bolt-Ammo-Earmuffs-spotting scope-cleaning kit-mat-hat-boots-jacket. So saying, on the last day, I forgot my flask & food for an all day session, left it in the kitchen!

i have to double check when I go. its an hour drive for me. i think the only thing i forgot was my target stand (free range, have to have your own stuff) but they let you use boxes so it was all good.
