Howdy from Iraq

Well I am still roaming iraq trying to find a home I will post up an address as soon as I get one for those of you that requested it. Doing pretty good over here, just trying to avoid the swine flu which one of my troops has. The weather is actually pretty nice a breezy 80-85 degrees. Hope all is going well back home with everyone and that the hunting season is doing well also. I will post up when ever I can, sure is nice to have a place to talk to some folks back in the states, yall take care.

Jon

Thanks for checking in. Finding a home in the box can be a challenge. We sent an advance team to set up our base while we were waiting for trans to get in from Scott AFB. As a first Sergeant I can tell you the task of keeping everyone housed, fed, supplied is a gigantic undertaking. It always seems to get done one way or another. Keep the swivel onthe old noggin engaged.

Thanks for doing what you do.

Thumbs up

99z28monster...glad to see you've arrived safely. You're always welcome to keeping us informed about your whereabouts, as much as you can.

The mid 80's temperatures there is interesting to me. I had no idea on how that would be. Here in the Kansas City area, near your home in Ottawa, we're seeing low 40's today...leaves are all falling, and maybe the rain will stop after 2-3 days sending down about 4" of moisture.

Look forward to hearing where you land...and send pics if you can.

Ox

Keep your eyes and ears open, 99z. Sometimes you'll hear trouble coming before you can see it. Eyes and ears open, mouth shut, and don't volunteer to do something stupid, okay? We'd like you back in one piece.
