I hear ya JimBob,

Putting a bit of a damper on the duck season. Toooo much water, all the hidey holes are geting flooded out & there are way too many standing pools for the ducks to lolly gag around in.

This has been one of the wettest years on record here. Every time we think we are going to get past the point of the ground being supersaturated so the water will at least soak in, it rains again. Whenever we get a rain storm, we are also getting weather warnings about streams overflowing their banks, be cautious crossing low-lying bridges, etc.

Hasn't rained here in a few days, but it is warm and muggy, and the cloudiness looks like it wants to rain.
Back in August it rained nearly every day of the month!
Basically, our weather now is much like it was in the mid/late 70's - it all goes in cycles.

It's been raining in Texas for two weeks. Our lakes have come up to 50% of levels, but we are looking towards a fantastic week ahead.

Raining here for the last few days. Arkansas' total rainfall for the year has already broken records. We're about 20 inches ahead of our average yearly rainfall and still have 2 months left in the year. Usually the rain doesn't really start until November or so. Usually July is hot and very dry, this year it was cool and wet. Many farmers have bumper crops rotting in the fields because they can't get out and havest them.

Rain ? Weve had so much rain since January down here it's scary. It's raining now and has only stopped for less than a week since January.

Along with the rain is high winds that blow down oak trees from the ground being saturated with water.
Not to mention all the flooding and Tornado's. Our locale news paper is full of damage today from tornado's, flooding and high winds.

Was pretty serious here yesterday and during the night. So please don't ever tell me the climate has'nt changed LOL

Before this day is over we will pass 18 inch's of rain for the month of October...A.H
