Question new to hunting, aint even been actually...

i was wondering, whats the best way to start hunting? bow hunting or rifle hunting? and for a bow, what is it like and what must you do to be able to use one in the great state of GEORGIA?

You probably have to take the hunter safety course ? you'll learn alot there . ask alot of ??????? 's .the more you ask , the more you'll learn !

hunters safety course is the 1st thing .......some states also have a bow hunters safety course...like montana...........the next is finding some good buddies to show you the ropes

You might want to try hunting with a gun first. Don't get me wrong, but bow-hunting is much more challenging than gun hunting and it takes allot more time. And for allot of new hunters this is a major turnoff might make them decide not to hunt at all. So I would suggest trying to go hunting with a gun first. Then after you become hooked for life (I'm sure you will) and have learned allot more about hunting, then get into bow-hunting. I fun and easy way to get into hunting is just getting a cheap .22 rifle and go hunt some squrals. Even though it might sound weird, but squrals help teach you allot about hunting other animals like deer.

No Matter what you decide to do, make sure you do it legally with all the right licences and during the right season and you don't trespass to do it. Its not worth the risk of losing your license or worse.
