Stripper Clips.

How important are they? Who here uses them? Should I use them? And if so, why?

I've got some and I like'em. It's easier for me to load
rounds. I can load 5 rounds pretty quick. Get at least one
and try it.

Yea, probably wouldn't hurt to try it. I don't bother with them personally. I have used them, and could if I needed to. I got some old Russian ones with some old brass cased Russian milsurp. I bought it for the stripper clips lol. I just hand load 5 in there, no problem. It would be your own prerogative if you wanted to try them. Just don't settle for the cheap tin repros I hear they aren't that great. Finn strippers, or Russian ones if you can find them would probably be your best bet. buymilsurp.com might have some. You could check Numrich too and see if they have any milsurp ones. eBay or gunbroker might not be a bad idea, but be sure of what you are buying if you try the latter.

I use them as well, my first 10 came from cheaper then dirt and worked very well, but the 80 my dad bought of ebay seem very stiff, a tad small and SHARP.

I use them when hunting, makes it easier to reach in the pocket and grab. I have some black ones that came with some Bulgarian ammo, they were covered in cosmo and have the number 10 on them. Load without a hitch as compared to the crappy razorwire ones.

At the range I just load individual rounds.

I have a few, but I don't use them to often. The ones in the pic on the ebay ones look like what I got. They work well, but sometimes I have to mess with them to get the rounds to go in. When buying stripper clips you need to be careful as to what kind you get. You need to get the proper design or they won't work worth a %*&$. Hoped this helped.

they are good for quick loading and keeping loose rounds organized, get either originals or the brass repros, the other repros arent that bad after you use em a couple times, its almost like they just need breaking inl

I used them all the time with my Mosins. I have some that work better with specific Mosins than others, but I've never had a problem getting them to work with any Mosin I have.

Deuce, not duce or douche. Still doesn't make any sense though.

I have about 200 "chargers" for all of my '03s and I store .30-06 ball in them. I only have about 30 chargers each for my No.4, Mk1 Enfield and my Mauser Kar-98k. They work great and are great for storing and inventorying ammo. I do not have any for my Finn Mosin M-39, but I will keep an eye out for about 20 minimum good brass surplus chargers.
