Cool

I shot my 29 izzy about 4 months ago with surplus ammo. Cleaned the crap out of it right away. Windex then Hoppes etc.... (I,m not new to cleaning...) I just checked the bores of all my MN's and guess what. That bore was like the bat cave!! I spent several hours cleaning again (including a drill with a brush atttachment) and oiling and 4 days later, looks like black again! I don't want to loose a 29 ex dragoon but it's not staying clean! Should I electric--- whatever it is it? How about mercury? Any info?

run a bore brush soaked in solvent through the barrel at least 5 times to loosen up some of the grit, then follow with patches (i use 12 Ga.) first 2 dry to get out the solvent, then 1 soaked in rem oil
