Thanks for the offer Mike, but even after I start working again, my collection is headed in another direction (maybe a couple of older M91's and add a Mauser and a Garand). The 91/30 and Camo Nataliya are my permanent keepers.
Since I'm moving back to CA (that's where the jobs and family are) I am lightening the load. have to sell the Yugo SKS as well, but will replace it with a CA legal Norinco.
George

oooooh, I want it... I want it soooo bad...
I just couldn't give you near what it's worth.
I'm a Tula guy, and of course I prefer hex receivers... This drives me CRAZY.

Yeah, I often wonder what it's really worth. Tula Hex receivered M91's and 91/30's are fairly common, but I've never seen (or heard of) an M44 Hex of any kind.
I'm starting to talk myself out of selling her.

It's so damned pretty, why do you have to sell it? Are the kids starving, or what? Aren't MN's legal in CA?

I'd buy the sks, but i'd be too tempted to go do something illegal to it.

Other than turn it into full auto or cutting the barrel too short what could you do to it that would make it illegal? Not much. Anything a mod would do is cancel it's C&R status.
Well, I guess you could get it hopped up on dutch apple pie and force it to rob a bank. You know what rogues those dutch are!

I already have a buyer for the SKS locally (stock Yugos not legal in CA). Yes having to sell these is the shits, but hey, that's life.
The M44 Hex is pretty much unreplaceable, but I'm not that attached to it (the 1937 91/30 and Camo 1947 M44 are my favorites).
Anyway, somebody has the opportunity the have a fairly unique M44.
Thanks for the feedback guys. It's nice to have a place where you can post, laugh, and learn.

Rules of the site. PM for price. Maybe I should go for high bidder.
