I was looking and oiling all my guns in the safe today. I came to my Browning BLR and my Marlin 30/30. Both un-shot and in 100% condition. I was just in one of those moments and thought to myself. These 2 rifles really are a piece of art. I love just looking at them. Maybe I just have a lever gun fetish. Are there any one or two guns in your collection that you just hate to put down because you enjoy looking at them that much? Maybe I'm weird?

My AR-15, WASR-10, and SKS. I kinda like the WASR most because it's open enough to watch everything working. It's pretty cool.

I have great respect and fine appreciation for the craftsmanship of many firearms. One of my favorite peices was my grandfathers Remington 31tc pump 12ga. It was his trap gun . then dads gun, he shot seldom. Then mine, shot never as mine. Now my sons, Shot thousands of times . He shoots for the high school trap team and got his first 25 straight with it. I know Gramps and Dad was cheering him on. Your not weird just have good taste in fine firearms.

There are two guns that I just love to shoot and look at, my dad's 1895G and my 39a Centennial. Lever guns just look *right* to me, plus, the 39a is just an awesome little gun.

The best gun I have to admire is my Egyptian Hakim. It's all milled, no stamped parts. not a single machining mark on it. It has a adjustable gas system for heavier and lighter loads. And the muzzle break is machined into the barrel. And then, lets not forget the M1 Garand too.

No, you are not weird. You are one of us now, welcome to the collective. Hoppes' #9 is a mind control drug. Don't feel ashamed, it is ok to enjoy the craftsmanship and engineering marvel that sometimes are firearms. If you do all that without clothes on, then, you are kind of a freak. My Israeli .308 Mauser, such history to it and there is nothing like a Broomhandle Mauser pistol.

Firearms are a form of working art. From a M29 to an AK to a Marlin Lever action to a Single Action Colt to a Smith M40. All intricate and well-formed pieces of machinery and artwork. Wonder where a High Point fits, though

I think my SVT-40 is the coolest looking rifle. For pistols the Luger is really cool looking and it just feels right when you shoot it.

I like looking at my PSL and AR 15 pistol. There's just something about the symmetrical lines of their design.

My Stainless Kimber 1911... Regardless of your thoughts on the platform's function in the very least, it looks badass.

My 1895 winchester, and M1 Garand do that to me. It's almost like I pet them when I pull them out.
