Remington 742 LH?

Ok, have I been out in left field all these years or what? Did Remington make a left handed model 742??? I haven't seen one but that doesn't mean anything cause the older I get - the more I realize how much I don't know. Thanks

I don't think they did, maybe the new 750 comes in a left handed variant.

It would be kind of pointless.

Just buy a 6mm barrel and mag for the action you have it will work just fine all you have to do is change the barrels amd magazines out when you want to shoot the other caliber.

Thanks, so they set it up for a left hander but never made the LH receiver. Thanks for the information.

I don't believe they made a LH 742. What is done to them however is to reverse the safety button from right side to left side. Lefties just push to right to fire instead of right to left. I've seen it done on 760's also. Works great and no issues.
