Reason: spelling errors
How about one that doesn't fit the mold.
A5 Light 12 serial number 61 (in smaller font) 323xx (in larger font) no letters where the chart says there should be one. It is a Belgian made model.

odies dad where is saftey located on this weapon? Am trying to find out through other people who like these fine guns date on yours Sam
I don't have a camera that will take a decent closeup.
The SN is 61323xx. The 61 is about 2/3 the size of the rest of the numbers. There is a large 1 above all of these numbers. No letters are in the sequence. This is the number that is on the bottom of the receiver in front of the loading gate. The same number is on the original barrel.
I have been asked twice if the 6 could be a G. Seeing as I cant look myself, I'll have to ask you. Not doubting you but sometimes these letter number combos can be tricky. Still searching other peoplke for answer. Good Luck and God Bless Happy Holidays
No, it is definitely a 6. The barrel is stamped the same way.
I'm hoping to find a decent forearm cheap at one of the gun shows I am heading to this weekend. I don't really want a new one because it won't match the stock and I can't afford to replace both.
