That story was from may 2009. has there been an update?
I'm not much of one for flags at all, but if there's going to be one flown it should be the Stars and Stripes.
when I look out of my place I see a sea of mexican flags, I'm tempted to fly an American flag from my building to remind my self what country I live in.

You started this, by disrespecting one of our good G&G friends, whom we happen to know very well. What do you have to say for yourself? Do you have a good reason for making the comments, or do you just like to stir the crap like so many others who are now gone? If you don't like this forum, go and spend your free time on the one where your buddies have gone! You don't even know the people you are disrespecting, but we do! I too noticed the date, but still believe it can and probably will happen (if not already) somewhere else. I just saw this video even though it happened back in May. Just a word (or notice) to the wise that still care what is happening in this country that we all need to keep our eyes open and speak up for what we believe in and not get run over by the a select few of those that want to ruin American as it was founded.

When that happens, it's everything goes kinda thing. When one side wraps themselves up in the flag and then says the other side is against the flag when they are criticized, I find that repulsive. Just because someone flies a flag or doesn't, or someone else wears a flag pin or doesn't, has no bearing on their being American enough.
Instead of flying the flag because you just want to fly it, people now fly the flag to make a point about them being more of a citizen than others. I don't think that's what Betsy Ross had in mind when she sewed the flag that represents us all.
