i need some help i have a 20. gauge and theres a pump 410. and its 227.00 is it a good buy

Re recoil....You will like the .410 then. The draw back is that it does not have the reach and coverage that the 20 gauge has. You will grow and the .410 will seem weak in a few years. Then at that time you could sell it. If you hunt with it, you will have to be closer and your aim will have to be a little better.

IF it is a Winchester , Please get the Model Number and post it back Here.
BECAUSE , if it is a Model 42 pump .410 , it is worth WAY more than 227.00 !

It sounds like top dollar but I think it would be a fine deal for you at ten yrs.I like them at 70yrs.The one hangup,.410 shells are more expensive than 20ga. ,,,sam.

Must be a Mossberg 500...It should say so on the Gun somewhere....
