I wonder if we Bushmaster owners could file a Class-action Counter Suit against them for defamation of the companies name and products? Fight fire with fire!
Saw that on the news last night. Seems the victims' families believe the AR caused the shootings by being in the wrong hands.
Big Dog, you could probably find a hungry attorney who may very well take the case. It'd be pretty cool to see their expressions.

Can we find some shyster to look in to a counter suit. I believe we could get a lot of $1s,$5s,$10s, and some $20s to fund this thing. I think gun owners would jump on the chance of eliminating the "Brady Bunch." Just think of it, 100k donating a $1. Surely there is some hungry lawyer looking for a big splash.

Sure hope my remmy700BDL in .243 don't get out of it's cage one night and try to get me....

I read just a little in the newspaper about this. It seems the dealer of the rifle has had an unusual number of firearms disappear as either lost or stolen over a period of time. I believe if this is the case then the ATF would pull his license; if they were aware and did not pull his license then the gov't would be liable also I believe. The manufacturer has no liability as far as I can see unless he was aware of any illegal activity. As long as the dealer has a valid license the manufacturer should deal with him should he not?

I would guess all of us, gun owners, abide by the laws of the land. Some we don't particularly like, but it is the law. As mentioned above if the licensed dealer is in violation of the law one would think the ATF would be all over him. It would seem reasonable checking out the dealer would be one of the first on the "to do" list.
Of course, we live in a not to perfect world and the "scum sucking Media" would hipe any rumor of a violation. Naturally, the "Brady Bunch" would exploit any rumor and the dealer may be an upstanding businessman. Remember the "Rosie's big a*s and spoon senario." I hope there isn't a violation, but even that may be use against the dealer.

Sarah Brady is sponsoring the families of the sniper victims in a lawsuit against Bushmaster, the gun shop (Bull's Eye Shooter Supply of Tacoma) and it's owners Brian Borgelt and Charles Carr.
Done....The wife even enjoys shooting my Bushmaster from time to time......she signed it as well and asked them if they plan on suing the ammo maker as well.
