I just got one from Classic Arms. I haven't cleaned it ip or shot it yet, but it looks great. The wood on it is brand new. In fact, the whole gun looks brand new. It isn't a Century build, either. This thing came from Romania as a complete firearm.

No more then an unported .357 id wager. Besides you have a mag to grip onto with your weak hand. I think the AK pistols are just silly. If you really want something that compact get a SBR underfolder. Can fire it pistol style or unfold the stock.

Agreed... these are pretty stupid and impractical. With a barrel that short your not even going to generate decent mv's anyhow.

Actually it does have uses. Here, you can't carry any kind of rifle larger than a .22lr in the swamps. Supposedly to stop people from killing gators. My brother wants the pistol because it's legally not a rifle, but has the power and firepower of one.

They aren't legal in New York because of that forward wood. I suppose you could argue it, but I think the courts here would say it violates the Patacki Gun Ban because that law specifically forbids pistols with forward grips. They were attempting to ban things like the Skorpion, but as written it would ban the AK pistol as well. Even the Auto-Ordnance Thompson "pistol carbine," the one with no buttstock, is questionable here.
