Was anyone watching when Obama came out for his press conference? Evidently healthcare and the Indians were more important than the current shooting happening at fort hood.

Same thing with the Little Rock recruiting station murderer.
For our Muslim allies , this kind of murdering traitor is part of the terrain -- been that way since A/Q assasinated the military leader of the Northern Alliance in 2001.

Public safety demands that more attention be paid to violent extremist BS on the net.
Just a thought.
I disagree. He didn't just shoot at US uniforms. He shot wounded and killed his fellow soldiers. He shot, wounded and killed his fellow AMERICANS. And, he shot and killed a pregnant women looking to return home to have her child. That's who he shot.

Yes, she is, but she is shot badly in both legs. What a heroine! She looks like a spritely young girl!

Blinding flashes of the obvious.

What's your point? That those American human beings who were in US uniforms are deader than people who were killed by any other murdering traitor dirtbag?
Tim MacVey , for example?
Evil is evil. Dead is dead. Treason is treason. That's my point.
What's your's?

I am really happy that the Department of Defense officer performed so well. Who knows how many other unarmed troopers and DoD personnel could have been killed, maimed or wounded. It says something of any person during an armed response when that person can continue the fight while still taking hits, not knowing whether s/he will emerge alive in the end. Here in our area, even the Navy and Marine facilities are bringing in DoD Police personnel to to share security responsibilities with the military police who are stretched thin due to deployments. I believe the Army uses both DoD Police and DoD contrators. Many if not most of them are veterans and some are recently deployed and returning vets. Others are former civilian LEOs in a second career. All are part of the Global War on Terror.

Saw on the tube that he could be charged in military court or Texas court. I don't know anything about the military court system, but Texas has a prettygood track record on putting these lowlifes to sleep. And the feds actually did a good job on that other lowlife Tim McVeigh.

Here is a picture of DoD Sergeant Kim Munley that I found in a British news article.

This is a somewhat more detailed report of the actual gun fight between Major Hasan and DoD Police Offficer Munley from the Washington Post.

Quote:
Major Nidel Hasan, an Army psychiatrist, had already killed or wounded dozens of soldiers, according to Army officials. He was still firing at unarmed troops who were dragging away their bleeding colleagues when he locked his eyes on Munley, raised his pistols, and charged her.

The petite officer dropped to the ground for protection and fired back. Bullets struck Munley, 35, in both thighs and one wrist. At least one of Munley's rounds hit Hasan in the chest, knocking him to the ground, witnesses said, although the details of what happened are still unclear.

I just posted the following in the readers forum of the Miami Herald:

Quote:
It is ironic that this tragedy took place so near Killeen, Texas where a mass shooting took several lives at a Luby's Cafeteria in 1989. That incident sparked the nationwide demand and implementation of concealed carry laws in 45+ states across America. In those states, violent gun crimes and gun accidents went down, while they stayed the same or got worse in those areas remaining that do not allow law abiding citizens to carry weapons. Like many college campuses, shopping malls, restaurants, shops, and offices that forbid the carrying of personal weapons, military bases are also open targets for determined gunmen. Concealed carry laws that work so well outside the base gate should be implemented inside the gate too. It is past that time.

Please tell us how we can weed out the nutjobs without profiling in any way, and be specific with your instructions.

Good luck with that one. The human race is loaded with nuts from every walk of life. How do you begin?

Impossible.
If I was trying to sort out the Nazi SS guards from the prisoners at Dachua -- I 'd start by looking for the well-fed fit guys with "nordic" features. Guys who look like me.
It would be different if I was looking for a bunch of dirtbags who just chopped off a woman's finger for voting in A-stan.
In either situation I'd want a good 'terp and some Allies to help sort things out.

ETA:
Here's an example of sorting things out:
Bless the Beasts and Children, Part 1
"The village was abandoned. All the people were gone. But where ? "
Warning: graphic pic's.
