gf's new mossberg

about a week ago i took my girlfriend and her little brother to the range.
id brought a bunch of stuff, including my mossy .410 and some clays.
i thaught we could spread them out and shoot the clays with the .22 and .410, but they really wanted me to throw them for them. they actualy did pratty well. on the way home i tried to convince her that she would have more fun shooting a shotgun that was built for someone of her size,
and of a more reasonable gauge for clays. she seemed receptive.
well, today we went to gander, and she picked out a gun. a mossberg 20 gauge, it was either a youth or a bantam, or some such thing. 22 inch barrel. like 230 out the door, wich i felt was a good deal, especialy for gander. anyways we just got back from the range, and she shot very well.
i was impressed. im so lucky haveing a lady i can shoot with. maybe
soon my daughter will start showwing some real interest.

I bought my wife a single shot 20 gage when we were dating. We later ended up getting her a Browning BPS 20 ga. She was very much happy to shot clays with us but she really didn't like the single shot when everyone else was shooting pumps. I didn't have to spend much on the single shot and it is a good gun to have around. It is fun to have a woman that likes shooting. Your GF's mossberg should work well for her.

Your a good man Charlie Brown. And Sam is right, we need this among shooters. I can remember the campaign of 25 years ago, "take a kid shooting", which I assume lost some traction in our PC world. Keep up the good stuff.
