I've had my Hi Point C9 for quite some time now. Use it as my carry firearm. It was great right out of the box. Inexpensive and fun to shoot. I paid $160 (background check included) for it. Whenever I let someone shoot it, they are surprised I paid so little for it.

Hi-points are +p+ rated? That was something I was unaware of.

When I bought my JCP40, I bought it because I wanted a pistol and the Hi-Point was CHEEEEAP. I wasn't making much at the time, so I got what I could. I was actually very impressed with its accuracy, but never knew they were +p+ rated. Too bad they won't feed hollowpoints worth a damn...

Is it just the 40 cal Hi Points that have trouble with hollow points? My C9 has worked with everything thing I put in it, including hollow points.

Got to shoot the HP C9 yesterday

I've decided to post the reply as a new thread. Hope you don't mind!

Why would someone just bash something for no reason. I say if your gonna bash a product you should have had a terrible experience with it, instead of little to no experience. If you have never handled a product just be indifferent, because you don't know whats what.
