My cat Rudy has two of the symptoms.
Lethargic
Difficulty breathing
I'll keep a eye on him just in case he stops eating. But I don't think that's going to happen anytime soon. He's lives to eat.

CGO - Rudy reminds me of the kid movie "Garfield". I watched it with the grandkids the other day and actually thought about your cat but couldn't remember the name. It's a cute movie for kids up to about 60. Ha.

Our little Foxy [maned coon cat] is 13 yrs old now, and she is very spoiled. We started her on canned food to supplement her dry food and she won't eat the dry food and meows all day for the canned stuff. If you don't clean her box out everyday now we get a land mine on the garage floor. She's also been peeing in the hallway, we may have to buy a carpet cleaner. Heck she's getting old what can you do? She's a good kitty and stays in her yard and has a male kitty that come to visit her at the fence daily.

As for pets carrying disease and or viruses, this isn't really something all that new is it now?

I mean, if a pig can transmit "swine flu" I suppose a cat or other animals could carry it as well?

Thankfully, our cat is 3 legged and only gets to go outside when we let and take him and our dog is an inside dog and both rarely have contact with anyone others then us.

On a side note: I took our cat off canned food about 2 months or so ago. I got tired of him puking. He does it FAR LESS now. In fact, only once since I took him off whereas on it he was puking at least once a day on average. So it got quite old...

in the interests of science i have found that you should never feed your dog chocolate while wearing a tinfoil hat in the microwave.

my cat has been sneezing quite a bit recently, i'm thinking about thinking her to the vet. the other 3 aren't though. and none of them go out. (except for what must seem to them, very traumatic trips for their shots, once a year.)
