These pictures were taken at the World War I Museum in Kansas City. This gun and many more relics are on display. It's a "must see" tour if you're in Kansas City.
Awesome pics Oxford!! My family and I spent a week in KC last June and we toured the WWI museum and it was the highlight of the trip for me!! Unfortunately we only had time to spend a couple hours in there. I would love to go back and spend a day or more!
I've never been there, but the COOLEST weaponry museum I've ever been to is the US Army Ordnance Museum in Aberdeen, Maryland, at the Proving Grounds. They have EVERYTHING there!
German rail gun? Got one.
V2 rocket? Got one.
Armor and Artillery? One of nearly everything ever made.
And on and on and on..........wear comfy shoes.

Haven't been to it yet, but plan to sometime when we are in KC. My grandfather (on mother's side) was a Lt. in France with AEF. He NEVER ever spoke of his WWI experiences and I didn't even know he had served till I was older. It looks like a really neat museum. In earlier years the Liberty Memorial had gotten kind of "seedy" and the area had a bad rep in KC.
Another place everyone should check out if they get the chance is the Heartland Museum of Military Vehicles in Lexington, Nebraska. My wife has family out there, but I never went through this place until this summer. Lots of neat stuff. I'll put up a couple of pics in the appropriate forum sometime.
