| Well,
they have not tested a nuclear weapon in the sense of exploding one. However, nuclear technology is widely available and there are many scientists in the world available for hire to make a nuclear bomb. Building all the components then testing them both in a computer simulation and in the real world is pretty much akin to actually exploding the finished product. It would not be a big step to assemble all the components if you had them available. It is my opinion a nuclear Iran is not such a threat as the government would like us to believe. After all, we have very advanced "shoot down" technology for any missile. I believe the government would like us to be worried about a nuclear Iran to take the voter's thoughts off the much greater problem of failed policies in both Iraq and Afghanistan. The creation of greater radical Islamic fundamentalism for which our government is a major, if unintended, promoter in the middle east and then throughout the world via the internet is a real problem. |
