Not a bad idea. I once stopped to help a cabbie seriously cut during an attack by a fare gone bad - out in the county on a lonely dirtroad. I called 911, and the EMS truck arrived quickest, then the FD truck. I had to talk the deputy in to us, as he did NOT know the area! Took a full 20 minutes to get the deputy on scene - meanwhile, here we all are standing around with a lunatic on the loose.

None of us were armed.
More recently, I gave some handgun shooting training to a woman employed by the neighboring county Corrections Facility and needing to pass her quals. Her male co-workers did NOT train her and used intimidation to try to get her to quit - the 'good ol boys' did not like a woman working there. SO, part of my training for her was to get her to realize she did NOT need to put up with that nonsense. Her shooting greatly improved - I just hope she got past the headgames those knuckleheads were trying on her.
