I would think if they are interested in firearms and related activities they would try to ask questions and learn from the experiences of more seasoned shooters.

Well at least I've got that off of my chest.
Elmer Kieth claimed he could hit an outhouse with a 6" .44 special revolver at 500 yards, and I tend to believe the man. But 2" groups at 600? That seems somewhat far-fetched.
BTW: I'd be lucky to hit the outhouse at 100 yards myself, my kidneys aren't what they used to be.

was at the range yesterday and shot 3/4" groups at 500yrds. with my blowgun, back to the target, over my shoulder, using a mirror, blindfolded.I was shooting handicaped over my left shoulder as I usually do 1/2" groups over my right.

It does get pretty deep on these forums sometimes. I have to change my house shoes for boots. Once in a while, bring in my step ladder. Some of the other formums don't have a humor section. They don't think it's needed, with all the "jokes" spread through-out.

Just remember, the 1911 platform can kill you. The 10/22 is the most viable survival rifle, and the AK47 pistol is a piece of useless junk !! I know these things because I read them here !!

Elmer Keith is one of my heroes.

And is the one person (inventor) who got me addicted to the .357. (favorite handguns)

Both Elmer & Bill Jordan, also got me hooked on the Model 19 & 29.

Elmer Keith has been dead longer.
Than some members here, have been alive.

HA to you! I can shoot two guns in each hand, two with each foot, and use, simultaneously mind you, my own supremely viable invention of a handgun swivel sling that lets me use my ears for the trigger action. With these 8 guns I can take out an ant on a pie plate at 300 yards, in a strong gale wind and pouring rain.

I will very eagerly admit that the last time I had to shoot the SAW range I never hit the 700 meter target. I couldn't find the damn thing and never saw it. LoL So its true... ya just can't hit what you can't see.
