Angry Sometimes I have to bite my tongue

to keep from going off and replying to some of the totally ridiculous things that appear in the various forums. Maybe I'm just to old and grumpy but when I see someone talking about shooting 2 inch groups at 600 yards with a pistol. Aparently there are some very young and naive people who post here. I would think if they are interested in firearms and related activities they would try to ask questions and learn from the experiences of more seasoned shooters.

Well at least I've got that off of my chest.

since no one will ever be able to disprove me i can put all 7 bullets from my revolver through the same hole at 400 yards. of course the hole is the size of the channel tunnel.
in fact I am still a very bad shot with a handgun. all my chest shots hit the liver area. (on paper targets obviously). I think it's caused by pulling the trigger with the crease of my finger rather than the pad. I suspect the hitting low is caused by anticipating the fire. I will gladly take any tips or advice.

the problem with the internet is there is no real recourse if someone is talking cr@p. Anyone can pretend to be a navy seal, SAS, or anything else, who's to tell who's telling the truth.

Sir, I am in total agreement, it is truly mind boggling, the outright lies that get posted in the forums at times.

The worst part of it, is that when you try to correct the individual, or call their bluff, they tend to get angry with you.

Oh well, I guess there are those who must parade around as experts to make themselves feel better.

Has anyone ever met a cook or company clerk that was in during the Vietnam Era. I know they were there, I saw them.
